Tick Tock

I always seem to find myself scrambling for more time when I'm doing a school project, or trying to finish something before a deadline. I catch myself hoping for more time so, so often, yet other times I take time totally for granted.
I've been doing some research on people's views on time and found quite a few inspiring quotes, so I thought, "Let's write a blog about it!"
Here are some beautiful quotes about time and my view on each one.

1.
Time is free, but it's priceless.
You can't own it, but you can use it.
You can't keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it, you can never get it back.
- Harvey MacKay
This quote is so beautiful, inspiring and completely true. Time might be free, but we take it for granted and we often don't even notice. We spend our time day after day. Although, I love how MacKay ended this quote off. "Once you've lost it, you can never get it back." Wow...
But it is so true. Sadly, time travel doesn't exist and once you live a moment, you can never relive it.
2.
Time is what we want most,
But what we use worst.
- William Penn
Ever catch yourself wishing for more time? It happens to me all the time, and we always want more of it in all different situations.
But how do you spend your time? Surely you've accidentally wasted time on something of less value than another once or twice. With technology these days, we constantly spend our time stuck in a phone or laptop and ignoring the beauty that surrounds us.
3.
Time
Has a wonderful
Way of showing us
What really matters
- Margaret Peters
Now and then, we make a mistake, and lots of the time, those mistakes cannot be fixed, because whatever happens, they can no be taken back. Although, with time, the mistake may fade away, and the bigger picture may come into view.

This goes for anything. With time, everything can change, and what really matters will always become visible in the end.
4.
There is only one thing
That is more precious than
Our time,
And that is who
We spend it
With.
- Leo Christopher
No matter what we say, our try, or do, our end will eventually come, because humans are not eternal. But, we can always make the time we have on earth the best time ever, because of the people we spend our time with. Some may leave before others, making them value their time together even more. Spend your time wisely, with those who believe the same, because your final moments together will be the most precious.
5.
You can't recognize
Good times
If you don't have
Bad ones.
- Unknown
There would be no mountains if there weren't valleys. There would be no sky if there wasn't ground. There would be no happiness if there wasn't sadness. Everything negative fuels the positives, and we would not be able to categorize the good times if there were no bad times to compare them to.
May this everyday blog written by an everyday teenager make your day 1 in a million.
