TRY

The other day, I stumbled across a quote that really seemed to stick with me. It read,
"Don’t worry about failure. Worry about the chances you miss if you don’t try"
- Jack Canfield
I'm not totally sure why, but this quote inspired me like crazy! I suddenly felt indestructible and honestly, a whole lot more confident. Maybe it's because of how true this quote is, or maybe it's because my brain somehow linked to a part of my life. None of the less, I fell in LOVE and decided to dissect these words as best I can.

Starting off with the first sentence. Don't worry about failure. This led me to think, why do people worry about failure? Why is failure so scary for us? How come it can overcome our feelings so easily? I think it's because failure is the opposite of success, and success is really everyone's main goal. We want to succeed in school, relationships, dreams, etc. and not getting those things is really what we are afraid of. We are scared of not getting what we want/need.
Canfield starts off this quote by telling his audience to forget about "failure". Stop doubting what you can and can't do, because the worry that burdens you is what blocks out the chances that you are given.
Worry about the chances you miss if you don't try.
Have you ever missed an amazing opportunity because you were afraid of what you saw as flaws in the plan or the things that could or might go wrong. What about the good results of the opportunity? The parts that could change your life or make things better in a bad situation.
Next time, try. Just do it, because no one can see the future, but you can change it.
May this everyday blog written by an everyday teenager make you day one in a million.
