Tomorrow Is A New Day

Sometimes things don't go your way. Sometimes it's "their way or the highway". Sometimes your dreams are crushed and your left to pick up the pieces of your shattered heart. Sometimes you are disappointed.

Life doesn't always go our way. People don't always see the world like we see it, and they reject our hopes, thoughts, and ideas. That's because we have imaginations bigger than the whole universe combined, and we see things through eyes of an idealist. We come up with things that could not only change our lives, that could change the world. We come up with literally the best idea ever, and then we are rejected.
Let's be honest. Rejection hurts. Bad. It is the elimination of ourselves from something. It comes in the form of big or small, but no matter the size, it can put us through a brutal emotional pain. It wastes time and tears and even leaves an internal scar. To put it simply, rejection sucks, and at the time it can seem like our life is over. It can feel like we have nothing going for us anymore. It can feel like nobody likes us, everyone judges us, and we have no potential. We can be taken from such a high, adrenaline filled moment to what feels like a lifetime of sorrow.
Here's the thing. Everyone gets rejected. Everyone gets put down. But guess what?
Tomorrow is a new day!
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door. And if anyone breaks your heart, grab some glue and put it back together. Because something better is just around the corner.
May this everyday blog written by an everyday teenager make your day 1 in a million.
